EDINBURGH, Ind. – The Edinburgh Police Department (EPD) responded to a report of a person being stabbed in the 6400 block of E. State Road 252, early Monday morning. Upon arrival just after midnight, officers located a wounded man, Michael G. Adair, 48, of Edinburgh.
EPD and Edinburgh Medics attempted life-saving efforts, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A suspect in the alleged homicide, Steven Garvin, 34, of Taylorsville, has been arrested.
Edinburgh Police is working with the Johnson County Prosecutors Office regarding all criminal charges in this investigation.
