JOHNSON/BARTHOLOMEW COUNTIES, Ind. – The Indiana Destination Development Corporation recently announced the 2024 Hoosier Hospitality Award winners.
Eleven tourism industry representatives were presented with a Hoosier Hospitality Award for their high level of service in tourism-related jobs at hotels, restaurants, attractions, and other destinations.
Community members and destination patrons submit nominations for the awards. Outstanding service is a significant factor in determining whether a person returns to an individual business or destination.
Sprague Hotel Developers had three of the 11 statewide winners, and two were from Johnson and Bartholomew Counties. Sprague President/CEO Janeen Sprague said, “I am proud to have each one on our team. We are honored that these team members have earned this award, recognizing the outstanding hospitality they provide to our guests.”
The two local 2024 Hoosier Hospitality Award winners were:
- Margarita Rodriguez – Home2 Suites (Greenwood)
- Brenda Sears – Comfort Inn-Indiana Premium Outlets (Columbus/Edinburgh/Taylorsville)
