EDINBURGH, Ind. – The National Weather Service (NWS) has announced that a Flood Warning is in effect for the Driftwood River near Edinburgh from late Friday night until further notice.
Moderate flooding is forecast. On Wednesday night, the river was around five feet. Flood stage is 11 feet.
Water will rise to above flood stage early Saturday morning and NWS says it will oscillate for an undetermined amount of time at around 14.8 feet.
Four years ago, the Double Y Saddle Club area was extensively flooded with water flowing over Bartholomew County Road 950N.
