NORTH VERNON, Ind. – Using surveillance techniques, the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) located a stolen motorcycle at the Dollar General Store, 3745 N. State Road 7, on Friday, April 18, at 9:15 a.m.
The driver, identified as John Joseph Meisberger II, was detained. The suspect had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Jennings County for Theft.
Several illegal items were allegedly found on Meisberger’s person, including 18 grams of Fentanyl and stolen items from Dollar General.
JCSO says he is being held at the Jennings County Jail without Bond.
Meisberger is preliminarily charged with:
- Dealing Narcotic Drugs (Level 2 Felony)
- Possession of Narcotic Drugs (Level 3 Felony)
- Auto Theft (Level 6 Felony)
- Theft (Misdemeanor-A)
- Driving While Suspended Prior (Misdemeanor-A)
- Possession of Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor-A)
- Warrant: Theft (Level 6 Felony)
- Warrant: Criminal Trespass (Misdemeanor-A)
All suspects are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
