GREENWOOD, Ind. – Greenwood Parks and Recreation hosts the city’s annual Halloween Parade in downtown Greenwood this Saturday, October 26, at 5 p.m.
“These events are what the community and I look forward to,” said Greenwood Mayor Mark W. Myers. “The Parks and Recreation Department has outdone themselves throughout this year by providing many memorable opportunities for families and these two events will certainly create even more memories for residents.”
At the Halloween Parade, attendees are encouraged to wear costumes and line the parade route for even more trick-or-treating. Children will receive candy from nearly 50 decorated floats and participants.
The parade begins at Craig Park, goes up Washington Street, and west on Main Street before heading south on Madison Avenue. It then goes east on Surina Way and returns to Craig Park.
