SOUTH-CENTRAL, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Homeland Security says most counties in south-central Indiana have downgraded their travel statuses to the Advisory Level (Yellow). This includes Johnson, Bartholomew, Jackson, Shelby, Morgan, and Brown.
A “Yellow” is the lowest level of local Travel Advisory. Routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of an isolated hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
Jennings and Decatur Counties remain at Watch Level (Orange).
The “Orange” Travel Advisory means only essential travel such as to and from work, or in emergency situations, is recommended. Emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies, and other organizations.
